Hey! I’m Maria Carolina and I’ll answer to any name: Maria, Carolina, Carol, MC… I’m 23 and I come from a small Portuguese city called Castelo Branco. There, I was often among nature and my big family (in the sense that in small places everybody feels like a cousin eheh).  Nonetheless, as soon as I got the chance, I moved to Porto to study Psychology, learning how to live in a big city among friends. Of course I’d still come often to visit my pine trees and the hugs of loved ones.
In believe that in Bologna I’ve found something similar. Even though I came to challenge myself, I fortunately found places that define me. During the days, O go to Calcara, to a beautiful building near the river and sunflower fields. There I found a work environment that mostly feels like a family. Then, I have the privilege of living in Bologna, one of the most beautiful and unique cities I’ve ever seen.
So, to sum up, I feel most like myself among special people, big cities and small idilic places, always with a book in my bag (even if I don’t read for days) and always ALWAYS with my headphones nearby. Thanks for reading!
