 L’esperienza di Leila! Portugal, maio 2025 "My eighth month in Portugal was calmer compared to the previous ones, but still full of nice moments. At school, we continued with the museum visits, and in class we did fun activities like learning new songs and creating big drawings together. The children were so creative, and it was a joy to see their imagination at work. Outside of school, I also had some special experiences. I got a new tattoo this month, something personal to remember my time here. I also traveled to the Algarve, which was beautiful! The beaches, the landscapes, and the atmosphere were unforgettable, and I felt lucky to explore another part of Portugal.  Portugal, abril 2025 "My seventh month in Portugal was one of the most memorable so far. At school, we went on a special two-day trip to a farm with the children. We spent time with the animals, made bread together, rode bicycles, and played in the middle of nature. It was a unique experience, and I really enjoyed seeing the children so happy and free in such a different environment. We also continued the visits to the museum, which are always interesting and a great way for the children to learn in a fun way. In my free time, I started to enjoy the beach season with my friends. We went for our first swims at Costa da Caparica, and it felt amazing to be in the ocean again. The sun, the sea, and the good company made April feel like the true beginning of summer."  Sembrano passati molti mesi, ma in realtà sono passati solo tre e il mio progetto a Ermesinde e’ finito. Il mio primo giorno di volontariato è iniziato con Ermesinde no Parque. Poi, ho iniziato con il Campo Estivo, che è stato molto speciale per me e, soprattutto, ho avuto l'opportunità di svolgere e imparare molti compiti. In seguito, ho avuto l'opportunità di fornire supporto alla Casa do Povo de Ermesinde, un centro diurno per 50 anziani, dove ho svolto alcune attività con loro. Infine, nelle ultime due settimane, ho sperimentato l'Associazione ADICE, con sede a Sampaio, dove ho aiutato bambini di tutte le età con alcune attività, tra cui i compiti del doposcuola. Ho anche avuto l'opportunità di partecipare a due attività con la Junta: la Passeggiata Cani, seguita dall'inaugurazione del nuovo parco per cani, e la Passeggiata Solidale dei Vigili del Fuoco, a cui hanno partecipato moltissime persone. Infine, ho partecipato a un progetto in cui ho distribuito posacenere tascabili alle persone, il cui obiettivo è ridurre il numero di mozziconi di sigaretta per strada e a terra. Posso dire che Ermesinde mi ha lasciato molti bei ricordi.
