“New Ideas – New Work” Training Course2

The seminar aims at gaining knowledge and skills by the participants in such areas as:

– the forgotten professions that again may become useful;

– innovations in ecology and its connection to fighting unemployment;

– natural building as a solution for cheap accommodation for the socially excluded;

– non-formal education and its influence on unemployment reduction.

The training deals with vocational counselling but focuses: on untypical professions, such as potter, blogger and natural builder. The training will consists of 7 phases:

Phase 1: Integration (teambuilding games, ice-breakers) – prepared by the participants;

Phase 2: Introducing the hugely forgotten professions, yet with increasing demand for their services, as an alternative to modern consumerism: potter, natural construction builder;

Phase 3: Workshop about Eco-farming as an alternative to traditional agriculture;

Phase 4: New Technologies as way to fight youth unemployment. Meeting with a blogger, blogging as a source of income. The importance of new technologies in small local businesses;

Phase 5: Meeting with the local community. Presenting the results of the project to the guests. Debate on ecological farming – is it profitable?

Phase 6: Ideas for implementation of results after the project;

Phase 7: Evaluation and YouthPass preparation.

1 Financial conditions:

–  Food, accommodation and activities are 100% covered by the project

–  Travel costs are 100% covered by the project up to a maximum of  € 275

–  “Quota associativa YouNet”: €50. These membership fees should be paid only by confirmed participants and give them the status of YouNet’s member and access to all our benefits.

As a result of the participation in this project, will be issued a European certification (“Youthpass”) certifying the skills gained and valid for the European CV.
