Polish speaking language mediator

17834973_1518975904782001_7415744079488127073_oYouNet is one of the leaders NGOs in Italy in the field of European project management in the youth field.

Every year YouNet manages hundreds of projects funded by the European Commission and the mobility of about 1500 people within various projects in Europe. Therefore YouNet staff consists of about 30 young people from different European countries with 4 offices in Italy. Currently YouNet is looking for a new employee for the office in Reggio Emilia.

 

Role of the new employee: Language mediator, welcoming and tutoring manager for international students within EU projects

 

Where: Reggio Emilia (Italy)

Working hours per week: 23-25 (250 monthly h)

Start date: ASAP

– To get to know EU’s finance programs in the youth sector;

– To manage heterogeneous groups of people;

–  To learn non-formal learning methods;

– To experience international relations in a youthful, dynamic and multicultural work environment;

– To use foreign languages in the work environment;

– To improve knowledge of English and Italian languages.

 

Tasks:

The employee will mainly support YouNet staff in the implementation of European projects for international students. This includes:

– To organize the welcoming and the cultural tours for international students;

– To mentor the international students during their internship in italian companies;

– To plan and manage tasks autonomously and in team, including back-office activities, in Polish too.

The majority of the students will be polish.

 

Requirements:

Knowledge of Polish (advanced level/native speaker) and English (intermediate level);

– Being able to manage large groups of people;

– Strong planning skills;

– Strong relational skills;

– Being able to work on one’s own and in a team;

– Being sociable, pro-active, capable to manage stress and  to problem-solve.
